The new strategic drift for restaurants in terms of food delivery

Restaurants used to include a delivery side to their business. With the recent events and the coronavirus pandemic, the food delivery business exploded and restaurants don’t have to deliver food themselves; platforms made for this use are now existing.

This solution, in order to stay open during the pandemic, as lead restaurants to adapt their menus to a delivery process. Uber eats, Deliveroo and other actors of the market changed the deliver game : deliveries are not anymore made for pizzas or sushis; great chiefs are now using these platforms for their trendy restaurants.

So, if eating a 50€ meal in a cardboard sounds strange for you, you’re clearly not a Parisian and plus you’re denying a major strategic drift in the restaurant industry !
